Architects pay per auction entry or by subscription. Clients use the platform free of charge. All prices in CHF, excl. VAT.

How an auction works

1. 1The client tenders the project and defines the scope of services under SIA 112. Architektonik reviews the tender within 24 hours.
2. 2The auction goes live with a fixed submission deadline of at most 60 days.
3. 3A vetted practice unlocks the auction with a single entry or the Atelier subscription. It then sees the detailed description and the documents for its quote.
4. 4The practice submits its application: approach, start, project lead and fee as an indicative quote. It can adjust it until the deadline.
5. 5The client compares the applications, rates them and makes the award freely. Only then does the selected practice learn who the client is and receive the exact address.

Is the Atelier subscription worth it?

A single entry costs CHF 39.90 and applies to exactly one auction. The Atelier subscription costs CHF 149.90 per month and covers all auctions. From the fourth entry in a month, the subscription is cheaper: 4 × CHF 39.90 = CHF 159.60. You also get up to eight references in your profile instead of three and a place higher up in the directory.

For clients

Tendering is free of charge and unlimited. Every tender is reviewed before it goes live. Your name and the exact address remain confidential until the award; only participating practices see the detailed description and the documents. All practices quote for the same scope of services, so the fees are directly comparable. In the comparison view you weight fee, suitability, approach and schedule yourself.
