2. Purpose and basis of processing
Personal data is processed exclusively for the operation of the platform «Architektonik»: providing and improving the platform services, user management and authentication, carrying out tenders and auction procedures, payment processing and communication with users.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 31 para. 2 let. a FADP) and the legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the platform.
3. Personal data processed
The platform processes the following categories of personal data: account data (email address, organisation name, language setting, registration date); project data (tender content posted by clients: title, description, address, documents); auction data (fee bids and entries; amounts visible only to the client and the operator); payment data (booking references and subscription status; full payment data is processed by Stripe and not stored by us); communication data (content of contact forms and in-app notifications); technical log data (IP address, browser information, access times).
4. Disclosure to third parties
Personal data is disclosed to the following service providers insofar as this is necessary for the operation of the platform: Stripe Inc. (payment processing, processing in the USA; basis: EU standard contractual clauses); Zoho (email delivery via smtp.zoho.eu, processing in the EU); Vercel Inc. Data is not disclosed to any other third parties or for purposes other than those stated.
5. Rights of data subjects
Under the FADP you have the following rights: access to your stored personal data (Art. 25 FADP); correction of inaccurate data (Art. 32 para. 1 FADP); deletion or restriction of processing (Art. 32 para. 2 FADP); receipt of your data in a common electronic format (data portability); complaint to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
To exercise your rights, contact: support@architektonik.ch. You can delete your own account directly on the platform at any time.
6. Retention periods
Account data is kept until the account is deleted. Payment records are stored in anonymised form for 10 years for legal reasons. Technical log data is deleted after 30 days.
7. Cookies
Technically necessary and without consent: the cookie architektonik_session keeps you logged in after you sign in (at most 12 hours). The cookie architektonik_lang stores the selected language (12 months). We store your choice in the cookie notice in your browser’s local storage (architektonik_consent); it does not leave your device.
Statistics: for audience measurement we use Google Analytics 4, integrated via Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> (storage period up to 2 years) and may transfer data to the USA (see section 4). Full IP addresses are not stored. We do not use advertising functions or cookies for advertising purposes. We rely on our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP). On your first visit, a notice points out these cookies.
Objection: you can decline the statistics at any time, in the notice shown on your first visit or via «Cookie settings» at the bottom of every page. After that we no longer load anything from Google and delete the Google Analytics cookies in your browser. Your choice applies for 12 months.
8. Data security
The platform uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Passwords are stored hashed. Password reset tokens are stored only as a cryptographic hash and are valid for 60 minutes. Fee bids remain sealed and are visible only to the client and the operator.
9. Changes
This privacy policy may be amended as required. The version valid at the time of use applies.
