Frequently asked questions

The House, briefly explained

What is Architektonik?

Architektonik is a Swiss tendering platform: clients and investors tender building projects, and vetted architecture practices submit their fee bids in sealed fee auctions.

How does the sealed auction work?

Every tender runs with a fixed deadline. Architecture practices submit a fee bid as an indicative quote; the amounts are sealed and visible to the client only. After the deadline, the client makes the award freely.

Who can take part?

Vetted architecture practices and developers can take part. Every account and every tender is reviewed within 24 hours.

What does taking part cost?

Architecture practices pay CHF 39.90 per auction or a subscription (Atelier CHF 149.90/month, Maison on request). Clients use the platform free of charge and can tender without limit. All prices excl. 8.1 % VAT.

Does the client remain anonymous?

Yes. The client’s name and contact details remain confidential; only the practice that wins the award receives them.

In which languages and regions is Architektonik available?

Architektonik is available throughout Switzerland, in German, French, Italian and English.
